Tua Tagovailoa sends a positive update on Twitter: “I feel much better”


Despite all the backlash and public outcry related to Tua Tagovailoa’s injuries this week, the most important thing is her health.

Tagovailoa was hospitalized after sustaining head and neck injuries Thursday, but was released after about two hours and flew back to Miami with the team.

Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Friday that he was in good spirits on the plane Thursday night and Friday, and the quarterback himself took to Twitter to give fans a positive update.

TUA TAGOVAILOA’S HOSPITALIZATION CAUSES SUPPORT FROM NFL WORLD, CRITICISM OVER HANDLING LAST WEEK’S INJURY

“I want to thank everyone for all their prayers and support since the game last night,” he tweeted on Friday. “It was hard not being able to finish the game and be there with my teammates, but I am grateful for the support and care I have received from the Dolphins, my friends and family, and all the people who have reached out. better and focused on recovering so I can get back on the pitch with my teammates”.

Tagovailoa suffered a concussion Thursday and the team said there is no timetable for his return.
