Los Angeles Rams quarterback Baker Mayfield he’s had a bumpy ride over five NFL seasons.
After being selected as the first overall pick of the 2018 NFL DraftMayfield had his ups and downs in Cleveland before being traded to the Carolina Panthers in the offseason.
The change of scenery was supposed to do Mayfield good as he hoped to resurrect his career.

It didn’t work out, with Mayfield going 1-5 as a starter in Carolina before being released by the organization on Monday.
Mayfield was released from the Rams on Tuesday, and just two days later, he led LA in a Game-winning 98-yard drive against the Las Vegas Raiders with less than two minutes to play.

Mayfield, who entered the game on LA’s second seriesHe was given the game point by head coach Sean McVay and his reaction speaks volumes.
Mayfield completed the comeback by connecting with wide receiver Van Jefferson on a 23-yard touchdown pass with just ten seconds left in the game.
“I don’t know if you can write it better than that,” Mayfield said after the game. “Obviously we’d like to be a bit more stress-free, but it’s a really good story, I’ll be honest with you.”

Mayfield finished the game with 230 yards and a touchdown, completing 22 of 35 passes.
“You can’t say enough about Baker Mayfield and the leadership, the resilience, the competitiveness,” McVay said after the game, according to NBC Sports. “And what a quick study, I mean, he just got here five minutes ago. He figured out a way to be able to do some special things tonight.”
The win snapped a six-game losing streak for the Rams, who will face the Green Bay Packers at week 15.
