Supergroup Mount Westmore release highly anticipated new album

Calling all hip-hop fans! Supergroup Mount Westmore is dropping a new album, and it’s one for the history.

The group is made up of West Coast rappers. Ice Cube, too short, snoop dog Y E-40, and celebrate their iconic runs. Combined, they have sold more than 100 million records.

During the pandemic, the four masterminds came together to form a supergroup and on Friday, December 9, they will release their first album called Snoop, Cube, 40, $short. Fans can look forward to 16 unique tracks filled with funk, wisdom, and swagger.

Since the late 1980s, E-40, 55, has had a stellar career as a rapper. During the pandemic, the “Choices” singer asked West Coast rappers to join him in the recording studio.

All the singers were delighted to join Mount Westmore. In a 2021 interview with The New York Times, Ice Cube, 53, opened up about the group, saying: “We have a mix of what you always love about us as individuals, but also records that show our range. We can hang out with the youngsters or take you back to memory lane.

Too $hort, 56, added: “The hip-hop spirit doesn’t really get old. It’s like a little kid thing that you have that’s your spark of life.”

The 51-year-old “Drop It Like It’s Hot” singer fits in just as well as the other members. Since his big break in the 1990s, Snoop Dogg’s suave style and storytelling have made him a beloved icon around the world. Most recently, he won an Emmy for his performance during the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.

Individually, the four stars have held West Coast hearts for decades. Too $hort first commissioned rap songs for pimps, movers and shakers in the California Bay area. E-40’s career evolved from Mob Music to Hyphy, and Ice Cube’s gangster rap style pioneered Hip-Hop during its more progressive era.

Long Beach native Snoop Dogg applied all of his previous styles to his own music and added an adaptable rap flow, which can be heard combined on 15 of the songs on Snoop, Cube, 40, $short.

While on tour in 2021, Mount Westmore released his hit video single “Big Subwoofer”, which achieved over 50 million views. Then the hit song “Too Big” was released and the rapper was introduced PLO.

His fan-favorite song “Free Game” was inspired by California electro-funk roots and promotes black ownership, self-empowerment, and valuable life lessons.
